Finance & Accounting Development Program

About the Finance & Accounting Development Program

The Finance & Accounting Development Program (FADP) is intended to attract recent, highly talented college graduates in the field of Finance and/or Accounting. The program is designed to develop these graduates into future Finance leaders through broad exposure to various financial activities and offers the opportunity for accelerated growth and development. The FADP program is the entrance point for new college hires into Goodyear Finance within North America.

In addition to job rotation, participants are provided exposure to senior leaders and comprehensive training and development.

College graduates entering the Finance & Accounting Development Program will be placed on four, six-month-long rotational assignments. The core assignments include rotations involving Financial Planning and Analysis and Manufacturing in Corporate or Strategic Business Units (SBUs). There will also be two supplemental rotations in other finance areas (such as Accounting, Auditing, Treasury, Tax, Business Development, etc). Assignment locations include both corporate headquarters and a manufacturing location; therefore, a mid-program, temporary relocation within North America is required.

"My time in the FADP has been an absorption of knowledge. Through the program, I was able to take a Plant assignment in Buffalo, NY, which was a valuable learning experience. By having this Plant finance experience under my belt, it will be easier for me to distinguish myself and progress in the company."
