Supply Chain’s organization is built around business processes that are customer-focused which is essential to achieving an Advantaged Supply Chain. Goodyear is committed to having the right tire, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost.
Goodyear’s Supply Chain is comprised of many processes and functions such as Procurement, Materials Management, Customer Service, Physical Logistics, Transformation, Demand Planning, and Production Planning.
Students entering the Supply Chain Operations Internship will be placed in either North America, Latin America or Global Operations Supply Chain all based in the Global Headquarters in Akron, Ohio. Each intern will be assigned a project for the duration of the assignment. The goal of this internship is to provide interns working experience in a global company and exposure to Supply Chain Leadership. Assigned projects will be a “real life,” value added business project that the student can tie back to classroom learning. Goodyear will provide opportunities for personal and professional development and networking. Ultimately, this internship is designed to build competencies for potential future placement upon graduation into North America’s full time development program.
