NATIONAL BUSINESS GROUP ON HEALTH HONORS GOODYEAR

AKRON, Ohio, September 29, 2017 – The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of 425 large U.S. employers, today honored The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for having one of the best workforce wellness programs in the nation.

Goodyear is among 48 employers that received the 2017 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award presented at the National Business Group on Health’s Workforce Strategy 2017 Conference in Washington, D.C. Goodyear received a Platinum Award for its GoodLife programs.

Goodyear provides a range of services to associates to promote health and access the best care when they need it. This includes on-site facilities such as clinics, fitness centers and cafeterias as well as services that support associates when they are away from work including online health networks and discounted health services.
