GOODYEAR ADDS TRAILRUNNER AT TO WRANGLER FAMILY
New Wrangler Delivers Versatile Traction, Long Tread Life for Light Trucks

AKRON, Ohio, Jan. 28, 2016 – The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has expanded its Wrangler tire family with the introduction of the Wrangler TrailRunner AT.

Unveiled during this week’s 2016 Goodyear Dealer Conference, the Wrangler TrailRunner AT offers a hard-working combination of on- and off-road performance.

“Built with reliability and strength in mind, and positioned in the mid-tier, the Wrangler TrailRunner AT offers the versatile all-season traction and long tread life that drivers need to get the job done,” said Jay Robinson, general manager, brand marketing, Goodyear.

The tire contains several features that contribute to its outstanding performance, including:

  • Large interlocking tread blocks to help deliver strong on- and off-road durability.
  • Saw-tooth block edges and multi-angle sipes for enhanced all-season traction, both on- and off-road.
  • An optimized tread pattern for enhanced tread life and noise reduction for quiet on-road driving.
  • A rugged stepped shoulder for added traction in deep mud and snow.

Designed to fit many of the light trucks and SUVs on the road today, the Wrangler

TrailRunner AT will be available in 41 sizes, ranging from 225/75R16 to 275/60R20. It is offered with a 55,000-mile limited tread life warranty.

“Whether driving down the highway or across rugged off-highway terrain, light truck owners want a wide range of real-world benefits to help optimize the performance of their vehicles,” said Robinson. “The new TrailRunner AT continues Wrangler’s legendary toughness and traction.”
