About the Internship

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's Human Resources Internship is an opportunity for college students pursuing a degree in HR or related field to obtain exposure to a variety of areas within human resources. Students will obtain meaningful experience while contributing to the company's success.

Interns entering into our human resources internship program will typically be provided assignments in one or more of the following areas:

  • Talent Management
  • Recruitment
  • HR Information Systems/Operations
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Leadership Development
  • Organizational Effectiveness
  • Labor Relations

Applicant Requirements

  • Pursuit of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, Labor Relations or other related fields
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Have the ability to complete more than one internship assignment prior to graduation
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Leadership ability

Ideal Candidates

  • Have a passion for Human Resources and the long-term desire to help drive Goodyear's high performance organization.
  • Have prior hands-on work experience in Human Resources
  • The ability to travel and relocate
  • Show growth potential
