Through the double-materiality process, which was conducted in alignment with GRI standards, Goodyear identified the topics that have the biggest impact--positive or negative, actual or potential, direct or indirect, intended or unintended--on our ability to create and preserve environmental, economic and social value.
Climate-Decarbonization, Adaptation & Resiliency
We identify and evaluate climate risks and opportunities and the strategies we implement to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, be resilient to weather-related impacts, and adapt to the transition to a low-emissions future.
Circularity
We drive innovation in product, manufacturing, services and business model design; advance the use of bio-based, renewable, waste and recycled materials; advance product design to enhance product lifetimes, retreadability and optimize weights; and advance product stewardship to enhance or enable circular solutions for tires.
