Below is how Goodyear has aligned our corporate responsibility goals with U.N. SDGs categorized for each focus area. Goodyear has identified ten goals that align most closely to our high-priority topics.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS)

In 2015, the United Nations launched the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 broad goals and 169 targets to address global challenges and drive sustainable solutions toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In 2021, Goodyear participated in developing the Sustainability Driven: SDG Tire Sector Roadmap as a co-chair of the working group through the TIP. The report highlights the sustainability impacts relevant to the tire sector and presents a series of impact pathways the sector can contribute to as part of the 2030 Agenda. The four tire sector sustainability megatrends that were identified in the report are listed in the following table, which also identifies the relevant SDGs and Goodyear initiatives/goals that support these SDGs:

The tire sector has also identified the relevant SDGs and seven impact pathways the tire sector believes as a whole have the greatest potential to influence and make progress.
