Important Information

Generally speaking, Goodyear evaluates sponsorship proposals based on the following factors:

  • Reach among the company's customer and consumer base
  • Compatibility with the company's marketing initiatives
  • Size and scale of the opportunity, including specific demographic

To provide the appropriate lead-time for marketing sponsorship decisions, a proposal must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the start date of the sponsorship. Goodyear will not consider proposals that do not meet this timeframe.

Please note that most reviews are completed within 60 to 90 days. However, if you would like for Goodyear to consider a national or large regional opportunity, please submit your proposal a minimum of six months prior to its start date to allow for appropriate consideration.

This page serves as a sponsorship proposal intake point for Goodyear North America. However, if your request falls under one of the following areas, please click the following links to contact the appropriate party.

Given Goodyear's current consumer marketing strategy and sponsorship portfolio, the company does not presently lend corporate-level sponsorship support to the following:

  • Combat sports (including mixed martial arts, boxing or other like sports)
  • Public expos or conventions
  • Requests that benefit an individual person or family
  • Religious activities, in whole or in part, for the purpose of furthering religious doctrine
  • Travel expenses
  • New product/merchandise proposals
  • Door prizes, raffles or other giveaways
  • School-affiliated trips
  • Politically-charged/polarizing events or organizations

Please refer to the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this page for more information regarding sponsorship proposals.

Regarding your sponsorship proposal, you will receive a reply via the means you submitted your original proposal (either electronic correspondence or mail) from a member of Goodyear's Sponsorship and Asset Marketing team within 60 days from the date of your electronic submission or the postmark date on your mail submission.

  • Your submission does not defame or violate the rights of publicity or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon the publicity rights or privacy of any third person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person's personal or property rights or other third party rights.
  • Your submission is not offensive or inappropriate, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, nor does it violate any law.
  • If your submission contains references to third parties, you will provide written and signed third-party authorizations upon request of Sponsor in a form and manner acceptable to Goodyear.
  • Failure to provide such proof on request may render your idea submission null and void.
  • The submission and its contents will automatically become the property of Goodyear, without any compensation to you.
  • Goodyear may use or redistribute the submission and its contents for any purpose, in any way.

  • Goodyear is not held responsible by you in working with any additional party that submits a similar idea.
  • There is no obligation for Goodyear to review the submission or keep any submission confidential.
