Max H. Mitchell, president and chief executive officer of Crane Company, was elected to the Board of Directors of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company on July 25, 2023.
Mitchell joined Crane, a leading manufacturer of components for the aerospace, defense, space and process flow industries, in 2004 and was appointed to his current position in 2014. Mitchell also has held other positions at Crane, including executive vice president and chief operating officer, president, Fluid Handling Group and vice president of Operational Excellence. His prior experience also includes senior vice president of Global Operations at Pentair Tool Group from 2001 to 2004, as well as vice president of Danaher Corporation from 1996 to 2001.
Mitchell also serves as a director for Crane.
